Who is ISO?International Organization of Standards (ISO) is an international body that certifies and monitors organizations of all types for compliance to recognized standards of quality and quality management systems. More than a million organizations are registered worldwide.
Several key areas of Wabash Center successfully met the requirements for certification to ISO 9001:2008 by this international body. Those areas of Wabash Center are Adult Day Services, Assisted Living Services, EmployAbilities and Greenbush Industries. EA Staffing Service, a for-profit subsidiary providing temporary staffing services, is included in the certification.
What does ISO mean to Wabash Center?Wabash Center is committed to providing quality services and continually improving our processes to meet or exceed our consumer and customer needs and expectations. ISO requires us to first identify what is expected of Wabash Center by individuals, families, or corporate partners. We, then, establish best practices to meet expectations, monitor and measure our actions, and continually identify the ways and means to improve our service to the community. Wabash Center is pleased to have met these rigorous standards and considers this to be another way to better serve.
