Join us for the 11th Annual GRANT’S HOUSE Celebration on Friday, May 1.
The House Family and Wabash Center are proud to host the 11th Annual “I’m Happy and I’m Alive” GRANT’S HOUSE CELEBRATION, a signature community event dedicated to raising critical support for the children served at GRANT’S HOUSE.
GRANT’S HOUSE is home to Wabash Center’s Youth Services and provides vital programs, opportunities, and pathways for growth for children and teens with intellectual and developmental disabilities. GRANT’S HOUSE has become a beacon of hope within the disability community and provides the following: an after-school program; a summer camp, and applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy. All of which are designed to help young people thrive, build connections, and reach their full potential. Inspired by the life of Grant House, a young man known for his gratitude, joy, and commitment to community, GRANT’S HOUSE reflects his passion for setting goals, staying involved, and pursuing independence. Established in 2019 at our 1500 Salem Street location, the space offers innovative, adaptive environments that foster learning, belonging, and connection.
Last year’s event proudly kicked off our capital campaign supporting the new Autism Center at GRANT’S HOUSE, SOAR, and with this year’s celebration, we’re aiming to hit it out of the ballpark and raise the remaining funds needed to complete our campaign and open this transformative space.
