Employment Services
Wabash Center’s Employment Training Specialists help our individuals achieve and maintain a fulfilling career. Our goal is to help those we serve become independent in their careers as they pursue a rewarding future. We believe everyone deserves the chance to make choices about the future they want. Our team is here to help people explore, understand their choices, and acquire the skills they need as they consider employment opportunities.
Whether you’re meeting us for the first time or trained and working, our specialists will offer support at every step of the process. We also help you find natural supports in your new workplace.
Many individuals we serve qualify for on-going long-term job supports. Even after our work is done, we want you to continue to thrive.
We offer a variety of services on a case-by-case basis, including:
teaching job readiness skills
job interest counseling
opportunities for job shadowing in various fields
preparing for interviews
support on the job site
job accommodations
Wabash Center has many employer connections in the area. We offer a range of job choices to our individuals. Along with our other services, we help our job seekers understand their employee rights and individual benefits. These benefits may be affected by the career they choose to pursue. Each staff member has earned an Employment Specialist Training Certification. We aim to be the best for our individuals.
